Common issues and solutions ( Creating an Organization)
Logo upload not working
What you see: The logo upload box does not accept your file or shows an error.
What to do:
- Make sure the file is under 1MB. Use a tool to resize it if needed.
- Use PNG or JPG format — avoid SVG, WEBP, or PDF files.
- Try a different browser if the upload still does not work.
URL slug already taken
What you see: An error on the Organization acronym field saying the slug is unavailable.
What to do:
- Try a variation — add a number, abbreviation, or your country code (e.g.
geg-aeinstead ofgeg). - Keep it recognizable and professional since it appears in your public event links.
URL slug showing an error after typing
What you see: The slug field shows a red error or warning as you type.
What to do:
- Remove any spaces, special characters (like
!,@,&), or capital letters. - Use only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
Cannot find your country in the dropdown
What you see: Your country does not appear in the Organization country dropdown.
What to do:
- Start typing your country name in the dropdown to filter the list.
- If your country is still not available, contact MICEtribe support at help@micetribe.com.
"Create Organization" button not responding
What you see: Clicking the button does nothing, or the page shows errors.
What to do:
- Check that all fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are filled in.
- Scroll up to check for any inline error messages on specific fields.
- Refresh the page and try again — your browser may have timed out.
Tips
- Your organization name and logo are visible to attendees on all event pages — make sure they match your brand.
- If your organization already exists on MICEtribe (created by a colleague), ask them to invite you as a workspace user instead of creating a duplicate organization.
- You can update your organization name, logo, and other details later from your organization settings.
